Ang importante in vapor form ang alcohol at water when feeding it as fuel, that way, mas maganda ang mixing with air and your primary fuel. Point of entry is through a vacuum hose connected sa intake manifold and another on the air intake passage in front of the throttle plate.

If you consider not using alcohol at all for lesser cost, maging mas malinis ang combustion chamber ng makina kung may halong water vapor ang intake charge na fuel-air mixture. You still have to balance your overall fuel-air-water mixture for better results.

Vernieg is right - as long as it is in vapor form - no harm for your engine.

Try searching for Devildok in this website.. he installs water-alchohol injection kits.

It will be ok just set a pressure not to low, 8psi pataas.
Mabilis mag vaporize, baka sa intercooler palang naging gas form na.

The "research" you are looking for is just a click away by clicking the link to the DevilsOwn thread posted above.

BTW, alcohol/water injection works best if the vehicle has some sort of forced induction (turbo, supercharger). Normally aspirated engines don't gain as much power.

As for water causing rust, won't happen because the system will only trigger when the engine is running under heavy load or similar. The system will not trigger at idle.

Also the devilsown kit atomizes the water. That means no condensations, etc.

As for the alcohol type, any will do. Rubbing alcohol, methanol, ethanol, ethyl alcohol, vodka, etc. Of course performance will vary depending what you use.

Last week sa auto repair shop ng kaibigan ko, may isang 1.3 toyota corolla, sira ang engine gasket, pumapasok ang tubig (coolant water, same water sa radiator) sa 2nd cylinder. The owner was surprised na visually malinis ang piston crown at buong cylinder (parang pinalitan ng bago), walang carbon deposits at walang rust. He even ask everyone sa shop kung sino ang nag linis sa second cylinder at piston nito and everyone told him "no one cleaned that cylinder and piston, it is already like that when we open your engine today". The rest of the cylinders have carbon deposits on the piston, makapal na nga parang asphalt concrete.

Condensed water will not cause corrosion on the cylinder, may engine oil coating ang cylinder everytime madaanan ito ng piston.

If your vehicle is not forced inducted you would be better spending your money elsewhere unless it's highly modded and can be tuned, ie raise the timing to take advantage of the higher octane and reduced intake temps.

Go with a highflow intake and exhaust would be a good start.

    No problems with the intercooler.

Only disadvantage is the water/alcohol supply is limited to the size of your container. So if you hit the "juice" a lot, your supply will get used up quickly.

Sabi nila, the pump that they are using "will outlast your vehicle" pero sa unit ko hindi eh. Bihira ko pa gamitin sasakyan ko nyan ha since wala naman ako sa pinas palagi
