Not really relevant IMO, an efficient highway cruiser in optimal conditions might be a total gas guzzler in city driving.

For example, my Mazda 3 2.0 does 18 km/L for a pure highway drive at 80 kph. My Civic does 20 km/L. So the Civic is only 11% more efficient.

But in real life city driving, the Mazda 3 does around 5 km/L in heavy city driving while the Civic does 7 km/L, which is a 40% difference.

Mga 22-25 km/L at 70. 1500 rpm ang 80 kph. I was actually doing 21.3 km/L for the NLEX-SCTEX-TPLEX stretch, bumaba lang to 20 km/L when I had to take McArthur na. End point ko where I filled up again was Shell Rosario right before Kennon.

Lots of variances with the numbers. For example, I'm 100% sure the Chevy Spark can do more than 12 km/L in highway driving. Seems to be driver-dependent.
