XUV or Everest

hi. i have a 03 XUV for sale and somebody is offering me for a straight trade with a 04 Everest A/T. now my question is that is this a good deal? dba ako lugi? my XUV is flawless and the Everest needs some kind of interior and exterior detailing and might even need a minor washover. any inputs would help. thx

As long as the machine under the Everest's hood is still top-notch then it isn't a bad deal. And, make sure too that the tranny shifts smoothly etc. etc. You wouldn't want to exchange your flawless XUV to a vehicle that's going to be a pain in the ass so check everything.

I wouldn't really mind buying a vehicle that has a poor exterior state as long as it rides, drives like a brand new and won't be giving me headaches that will cost me a lot of money

how will i know if the transmission shifts smoothly? i have no idea about autotrans cars since all of my cars are manual..

You won't feel the so-called shift shock or in layman terms " kadyot " when the tranny changes it's gear.

For me it is a good deal as long as the everest works well, pero kung madame ka papa-ayos at sakit sa ulo, then stick to your XUV na lang.

i think the car works good naman. the shifting is ok i think coz its fast. iba talgaa ang acceleration nya compared to XUV w/c is very sluggish. one thing that hinders me with the swap is that the interior is kinda dirty and meron mga scratches sa door side panels w/c is the very thing i really hate most and i think imposibble to cure it and also yong exterior kelangan ng minor washover. teka magkano ba market price ng 07 everest ung new look? thx
