Who was bigger interior body?

I notice na parang malaki interior body ng civic na 1996-1997 from 2001-2002 model...tama po ba ko mga gurus? And may I add....many claimed na mas powerfull daw engine ng 6th gen kesa sa mga 2001 up?

sa akin lang ay mas maluwag ung 2001 body kasi wala nang humps sa rear passenger row.
