    guys question lang meron ako nakikita mga EX model na lancer itlog...ano pinag kaiba nila sa EL?

    When the rounded "itlog" Lancer was replaced by the newer Lancer with triangular taillights, the old gen itlog Lancer EL was retained as a entry level model(sort of like a Sentra LEC).
    The old EL was renamed EX because there was already a new gen EL at the time.
    And like what artpogi said, they added power steering.

    Correct ka dyan! We owned both. Other than the power steering, there is no other difference. The ones we got are both fun to drive. How I wish these Lancers are durable.

    My Lancer EX is not power steering, it is all orig, all stock up to now.

    What I know is, yung kasabay niya na Nissan LEC ang power steering.

    When we got the Lancer EX, lumabas na kasi yung Lancer EL na Pizza, so they have to rebadge the rounded lancer to EX.

    The EX/EL is the low end model with carburator type engine during that time.

95 lancer EL and a Lancer EX whats the difference?
