Criteria would be fuel consumption, cheaper maintenance, higher resale value. Most will be used in provincial assignments some in metro manila. Space, safety, and other features arent important. Initial choices would be the vios, mirage g4, city and mazda 2. Suggestions and other feedback are all welcome.

IMHO it would be a choice of the VIOS and MIRAGE G4.

If I had to decide, I would go for the G4.

the cheapest! suzuki alto and toyota wigo! maybe the base mirage hatch.
    they promise good fuel efficiency.
...lower resale value? you got it cheap... why complain about cheap resale value?

Were limiting our options for sedans for the time being...but hatches are nice too.

Provincial fleet use, for barangay roads? Suzuki Jimny.

Fuel economy is so-so, and space is very tight, but parts are very cheap, and it'll last much longer than any of those sedans. Resale value is also pretty good.

In-city, go for the G4 or the Vios. Best space+economy. The Rio 1.2 is also a good choice, but parts availability in the provinces will be an issue.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Vios... there is a reason why it is also being used as taxis and field service vehicles for pharma companies.

It was the choice car for field service vehicles because it was the ONLY choice then (especially if you remove early korean and chinese options) .... today, we have a bit more options to choose from.

The Vios is no longer as efficient as it used to be, with the same engine burdened by a bigger body.

You want to know how suitable the Mirage G4 is for fleet use? On the day it was launched, SM was impressed enough to place an order for 200 units, on the spot.

Mirage G4 GLX M/T. Probably the best fleet car today in terms of combined acquisition cost, fuel economy, engine power and room in a sub compact. It's a three-banger so maintenance would cost less.

Wigo 1.0E if you ask me, but if you are sticking with your options, I'll go with the Eon.

For fleets it's best to stick with Japanese for now.
