Hi! i ruled out the q5 and the x3,x5,x6...

    what would you pick....
2011 porsche cayenne or range rover evoque 2012

the problem with the evoque is its a small size cuv but very good looking
or cayenne with its large cargo space but very ugly rear

    take your pick

Personally, between the two I'd get the Cayenne. I'm biased against Land Rover for their infamous reliability issues. But if you can import a Touareg or Q7 V12 TDi... Why not that one instead?

Definitely a Porsche Cayenne. The Cayenne would be running circles around the Evoque. Quite hard to beat 500+ horses on the engine.

Land Rover is known to be among the least reliable brands in the market, and is voted as such by numerous reputable auto surveys. Sorry I can't give you first hand information about this as there are few LR's in the country and I haven't been fortunate enough to know the owners of these vehicles. But here is one of the numerous sites wherein owners voice out their woes about their LR's.

    range rovers, gearbox laging bumibigay...

    ewan ko lang ngayon ha.....

    just sharing...

Range Rovers actually rank near the bottom of reliability surveys. Check out JDPower for more information, they're pretty much the standard in reliability tests.

Everthing else equal, I wouldn't care much if the Cayenne has an ugly butt. I'd rather prefer it that way since your opponent would pretty much be looking at it on a quartermile race.

hehehe... im only interested in the v6 variant because its for family use... but 300 horses is enough to put most cars to peace...

Oh, that wouldn't be a problem. Personally, I think the V6 is enough for everyday use. As for the Turbo versions, better get yourself another Porsche. Maybe a Boxster or a Cayman. The price difference between the base model and the top of the line Cayenne is jaw dropping.

I don't know how the lack of color is stopping you. Go to Fort Boni, find Foilacar, have it foiled. Matte black still looks the meanest of them all.
