As with the lancer, parts are easy to find. Engine swap is kinda ok, depends on what engine you want to swap it with. My only beef with lancers is that as it ages and the owner doesn't maintain the car, you'll hear a lot of squeeks in the cabin...but then all in all I'd still choose the lancer over the other cars mentioned.

March 7th, 2006 01:18 PM #24i agree also, i think mas ok ang lancer pag dating sa 2nd hand.
sa 200k, kahit siguro lancer na pizza, makakakita ka.
kaunting tiyaga lang sa paghahanap.
kung corolla kasi kukuhanin mo, most likely you'll end up
with a 12 year old car... mataas kasi ang re sale value ng
toyota kaysa lancer.
normally issue lang naman ang re sale value dun sa mga
nagplaplanong bumili ng brand new.

pros
1. sporty look. dali lang papormahin.
2. fuel economy. 1300cc lang to and this translates to 12~14 km/liter city/highway driving compared sa 9-11 ng mga 1.6 engines (lancer glxi, corolla gli..) yun nga lang, medyo bitin syempre sa performance.
3. good resale value. though in my opinion this is a car-to-keep = )
cons
hmmm....manual window..
then some 1997 EL (manufactured on first half of that year) are not power steering..sabi nila nag start lang yung PS nung 2nd half na..

Observe mo kung mag-fluctuate ang RPM to a very low level and if it will stay there for a few seconds, if that's the case then either it's throttle body has not been cleaned ever since or worse is the servo is on it's way out.

3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
