can someone help me choose which 2nd hand vehicle to buy. my budget is 450k

pls. can help me out by posting the advantages/disadvantages of the 3 vehicles that i listed.

My office company car is an Innova 2.0J VVTi. I can vouch that the Innova Gas MT is fuel efficient for a gas fed, 2.0L MT that seats 7. I can get 8-9km/l easily in city driving. 10-11km/l on long drives. Note: that I rarely do eco driving.

Although, I must say you can already get an 05 Innova G D4d for your budget.

Among the three, most practical, I suppose, would be the Adventure nalang. Compared to the two, malaki ang maititipid mo sa krudo. You can properly seat ten people in there too, which is not the case with the other two.

Big turn off kasi para sa akin ang gasoline engine sa Innova. Lalo na kapag 2.0A/T ang kinuha mo, malakas uminom yan, at hindi rin naman mabilis. Although if its your type, matibay rin naman siya, and adequately civilized.

Nissan Safari... Unless you'd want to conquer Pinatubo often, I'd stay away. Ang laki eh! 4.2L n/a diesel is not fuel efficient given the big displacement, and its not fast either. And the interior is cramped, considering the huge exterior.

Another option for you would be the Revo diesel. The last 2005 batch would fit in your budget nicely. Its more spacious than the Adventure, and more well rounded in terms of engine performance.

yung 3 units lang kasi available currently na pasok sa budget. wala akong nakitang innova diesel at crosswind *450k sa ngayon. tsaka revo narin kasi sasakyan ng kapatid ko. tsaka diba may issue ang d4d diesel ng innova? salamat mga kapatid.

OK yung Revo VX240D. Andun na lahat. Leather seats, premium entertainment system... Revo diesel is also the least prone to smoke belching among the Revo/Adventure/Crosswind trio, at least according to my observation.

Meron namang Crosswind na papasok sa budget mo. But Crosswinds have extremely high resale values. Which means medyo luma na ang makukuha mo, and most likely high mileage na. Pero in its defense, napakatibay at napakatipid nito. Mas matipid pa sa Revo and Adventure diesels. Just be wary about its smoke belching. Dapat alagang alaga talaga.

revo kung type mo ang gas wala kanang babaguhin pa maganda ang seating nya pogi pa.yung vxr2000, pero kung mag diesel ka crosswind gets my vote, hangang ngayon d pa rin namin binibitawan crosswind at gamit sa province..cons lang is medyo mausok pag dmo naalagaan at laging pinapalinis ang injection port nya..in the end medyo mataas ng konti maintenance nya kesa sa gas fed..

hindi naman po kasi dinesign sa speed ang mga advie eh heheh ,, sa pang family at hakutan o business tsaka malakas ang adventure sa akyatan,tama na yung tumatakbo ka ng 100 kph. kasi may speed limit na rin kasi ngayun hehe :sweat:

at ang 4d56 nga matipid sa maintenance kasi kahit ikaw na mag change oil. kyang kaya :thumbup:
kahit sinu sinung mekaniko kayang kaya. di kamuka ng mga sasakyan ngayun. ubligado sa casa.

I suggest you go for the Advie. The ff. you should consider:
1.) A liter of Diesel is always cheaper than gasoline ALL the TIME. Kahit tumaas ang gas, mababa pa rin diesel AT ALL TIMES.
2.) Sa FC, lamang lang ng konti si adve sa FC ng innova, the fuel cost per liter will be the BIG difference (item 1 above). Sa Nissan Safari FC? I don't know.
2.) For 2nd hand cars, mas mataas maintenance cost ng Innova Gas. Bukod sa malakas ng lumamon ng fuel ang mga 2nd hands, eh mas marami pang pyesa ang due for maintenance.
Rule of Thumb: "The more features the car has (such as gas cars), the more parts it has for maintenance or replacements in
the future."
Gas engine has more parts than diesel engines FYI. Sasakit ulo mo sa gastos sa gas engines, palipat-lipat magiging sira nyan.
Una, sa spark plugs, sunod sa distributor, then sa starter, computer box if any, tension cables, etc etc.. unlike sa diesel cars,
change oil mo lang, palit filter lagi...ayos na. FYI, subok na subok na ang 4d56 engine ng Adviekesa sa d4d ng innova, the
4d56 engine has been used long untill now by L300s. Pansinin mo sa hiways, buhay na buhay pa rin ang mga L300s. Kung
usok naman paguusapan, pumili ka ng advie na medyo mababa pa mileage, then ipa-timing mo (better if top overhaul kung
may budget ka pa), change filters, at i-change oil. Do not use synthetic oil, use regular oil lang for the reason that i
recommend that you change oils every 5000km.
3.) Speed? Hindi kailangan sa ride ang more than 130km/hr speed. Speed limit is always 100km/hr lang po dito sa Pinas plus hindi bagay sa speed ang mga bumpy roads dito sa atin. IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE, do not choose SPEEDY rides. Keep yourself safe at all times for your family.
4.) Sa space, halos parehas lang silang lahat.

Sir, may Adventure po kami, meron din pong Crosswind, Innova at Dmax.

Model 2003 po ang Adventure at ang Crosswind. Ang Innova naman po ay bago lang at kay misis po, late 2011 po acquired. Model 2008 po ang Dmax. Lahat po sila ay diesel. Ngayon po nagtatrabaho ako sa Australia at sa pilitan dahil sa trabaho po, kumuha ako ng 2nd-hand Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.7 V6.

Since ang selection po ninyo ay mix of gasoline and diesel cars, suggest ko lang po na tuminingin din po kayo ng Suzuki Grand Vitara - ang GV po sa atin ay 2.4L gasoline at rear-wheel 2WD po, kaya wala po kayong problema sa fuel mileage nito, hindi gaya ng all-time 4WD version po nito.

Nasabi ko po ito dahil na rin base po sa selection ninyo ng sasakyan na tulad ng Innova at Adventure, mas di hamak po na maganda ang Grand Vitara. Ang pera po ninyo na P450k malaki na po yan para pang-downpayment ng alin mang sasakyan kung brand new din po ang hahanapin ninyo, although alam ko po 2nd hand po hanap ninyo.

Huwag na po ninyong i-consider muna ang 1998 model na Nissan Safari kahit Executive series pa po iyon; 14 to 15 years old na po ang sasakyan. Baka po kasi sa kaka-repair lang po nito, ay para na rin kayo bumili ng bagong sasakyan sir.
