Our hilander is 15yrs and counting...na-ondoy pa yun. Had to replace the starter and alternator after the flood but the mechanical bits, no problem whatsoever.

    Thanks po mga sir.

Pick-ups are excluded. Yung bibilhin naman po namin eh for our future family use.

My vote sir goes to Toyota Innova or Mitsubishi Adventure.

    Manual transmission ONLY
    High ground clearance
    Maintenance
    Space for cargo
    Fuel efficiency
    Comfort

    Thanks for your inputs.

    heh heh.

    i don't think so.
i'd give these guys low scores in the comfort criterion.

If you are only considering brand new and don't mind the lack of speed, I'd suggest the Adventure. It checks all your boxes, except perhaps for the comfort part. Maintenance and parts cost is dirt cheap and it is less susceptible to smoke belching as compared to the Crosswind. Unlike the base Innova, you get more creature comforts like power amenities and a fancy entertainment system.

Personally, I'd go 2nd hand. A slightly used higher-variant Innova or even a Montero would be very good choices.

Thanks for the inputs sir.
