Well there would be some things about the car that one wouldn't know unless he has driven the car, like perhaps the texture of the plastics, the engine note and overall car behavior. After all you will be providing a picture of the car. You wouldn't be going to the extent of taking a picture of some random car, claim that it is yours and share about it in a forum, right?

Been both naman. Active ako sa mga owners clubs like Nissanbayan, Protegetech at Fordclubph.com. And you learn a lot.

Pero you learn a lot because of the "kuwento kuwento" style. i can understand it's hard for non-forumers to dig through the posts. Siguro maganda kung may " common problems" thread na puwedeng unlocked ang first post para ma-update ang list... Like we do in other owners forums.

Agree ako kay SG this time. Kailangan you or your family own that car to really give credible feedback unless of course you do that professionally. Hindi mo kasi siya makakabisado kung na test drive mo lang or napadrive ka lang ng tropa mo. Hirap kasi dito sa tsikot, dami talagang epal. Pag may nagtatanong, rereplyan nila ng info galing sa net which as we know is not always true.

Aside from owning it, guys also learn a lot about and can give good feedback because they have hands-on maintenance experience with the car even if we don't personally own them. Otep and I for example, get to go hands-on dirty with a quite lot of different cars because we personally handle the servicing of these rides although they are not necessarily ours.

so what do we do to those who don't own the car and yet want to say something? stone them?
how do we find out that they actually do not own such car?
..point is, a rule that is not enforceable, should be discarded.
