October 22nd, 2014 03:01 PM #11if i may sway you, buy a pick up from a fan boy, who does not use the said vehicle for which it was intended. pag pick up kasi tapos second hand medyo may kahirapan, normally laspag ang mga ito or madaming kailangan palitan...
normally ang mga laspag na nakikita ko na inaayos lang ay ang mitsu strada, bring a good mechanic na rin at kung maari ay ipalift mo sa gas station para matingnan yung ilalim mabuti- it is a must.

October 23rd, 2014 02:00 AM #13Both the Hilux and Ranger are excellent workhorses but AFAIK, the models that fit your budget do not have matic variants.
I personally prefer the Strada. The design ages gracefully. From what I can see, prices are actually considered low if compared to the Hilux of the same era. 4D56 engine also means cheap and universally available parts supply.
How much are you willing to stretch? Kung mga 500k pasok na ang D-Max and Ranger 2.5TDCi with some haggling.

October 23rd, 2014 08:57 AM #16I am an owner of a ford ranger 2005 model. It is a reliable pick up. Marami din piyesa especially sa Banaue.
