    - Chev venture - comfortable 7 seater but then iwas hiram din kasi malaks sa gas
    - Honda Odyssey - nice handling and malakas din sa gas
Just get anything na malaks sa gas hehehe
    Dagdag mo sa listahan:
    - Kia Carnival V6
    - Nissan Serena

Yes, that's a good way to train your son: Second hand muna and siya mag maintain. Start with the basics and para makita niya how to get a car into good running condition and maintain it well, and to value it. Ganyan din ako nag start at a young age with my dad. Pero dapat maturo mo rin siya to be mature about it and huwag maging rezing-rezing boy na panay abubot and mods lang ang alam, lalo na pag yung barkada ay maging maimpluwensya sa kanya. Just read the Honda Civic SiR thread and you'll get our drift on that.

It's a mini owner type jeep. Definitely smaller than the regular ones, kaya nga mini eh.

A good choice for you since you'll always be seating more than 5 is the Starex. Meron ding matic version yan, although it's not as fuel efficient as the diesel AUVs, it's a lot more comfortable. Power is decent if you don't ask too much, turbo intercooler naman yan so if it's well maintained, it'll climb the slopes of Baguio no problem. Since it's still an old school diesel engine, maintenance is very basic too and it's built to last. Yun nga lang, siguradong sigurado todo hiram ito ni Kamag Anak Inc. siguro dumoble na mileage niyan by your next visit.

If you want something more deterrent to Kamag Anak Inc, but is still comfy for more than 5, best to get a big gasoline car. You get to enjoy the power of the car on your visits at hindi naman daily driver, OK lang gastos paminsan and siguro out of town naman kayo lagi so fuel consumption would not sting too much. Like bro myk384 said, you may consider the Carnival/Sedona 3.5V6. Or, you can consider the Expedition. AFAIK the later batches of the 1st gen model do not have the problematic air suspension anymore and some of them are even already converted to run on LPG.
