City is the best - i don't like to see my car used as taxi...cheapo ang dating:peace: kahit ano pang sasabihin na may advantage kung gawing taxi. We are in the Pilipins. kakasawa tingnan na ang car mo dami parehong taxi

The VIOS might look cuter but I would still go for the City. It's really quite advanced over the VIOS in terms of technology. If you are more enclined towards more power and more pepp, a 1.5 VIOS is the way to go.

I-DSI is designed for more more torque in a lower RPM good for city driving. Electronic Power steering reduces power leeching from the engine via belt meaning more left-over power. CVT for more efficient gear ratio. ULT seats are just a bonus.

i have a Honda City 1.5L CVT Model. My girlfried has a vios 1.5G VVTi. mas malaki ng kaunti ang Honda City if tingnan mo sa likod. mas spacious ang interior. Ayus rin technology ng Honda City CVT.

safetywise, honda city talaga ako. 0-80 acceleration in roughly 7s-8s kahit naka 7-Speed Auto Mode lang ako with full tank! I love the new honda city. sa totoo lang yung previous model ang talagang pangit. kaya siguro bad taste parin yung honda city sa iba.

try to test drive a 1.5L CVT Model. super smooth. walang ingay. sa vios maingay engine.

sa city naman, i love the vtec sound! remember, CVT ito not the typical AT Trannie!

Honda may only be the #8 car manufacturer in the world. But they are the #1 engine manufacturer.

lahat yung mga makina ng mga kuliglig at rice mill sa probinsiya, lahat ng makina ng mga pumpboat, and of course the vast majority of tricycles na pampasada, Honda lahat yan.

That's why Honda has the best mass-market engine technology (e.g. yung 1.8L engine nila sa FD, SOHC lang, 1.8L 141hp and it beats the crap out of Mazda's 1.6L na DOHC MZR-Z6, 105hp tapos mas malakas pa sa gas).

    Back to topic..

I used to think "ok na siguro yung Vios E" pero sumakay ako ng Avis Taxi na Vios E to Tagaytay Highlands ang back. Kakainis parang lumang kotse yung interior noise niya on the highway.

Is the Vios G any better? how does the highway noise compare to the City 1.3 and 1.5?

(or better yet kalimutan na ang lahat kasi important sa akin ang road noise, at mag Focus 1.6 nalang with the guzzly Mazda engine)

Both cars are good it has its pros and cons, it depends on what you prefer. First try back track this thread and read all the comments of vios and city owners, marami kang matutunan. 2nd go to car dealers and test drive the two cars and have a feel, then decide w/c one you prefer and suits your needs.

my dad said that I should buy a 1.5 Automatic Honda City or Vios...I am the type of the driver who is not aggressive may be because I dont usually drive my father's car and my priority is in the technology which I heard is that the City has the edge...I am not also fond of travelling far like Baguio or Bicol..so any suggestion or comment?...

City is more advance in technology as compared to Vios. The City have the CVT transmission system for automatics and EPS (Electric Power Steering). ULT seats and glass incorporated radio antenna.

Go for the CIty because it has the technology, more spacious, and well-defined exterior and interior. But a way to help you make up your mind better is test drive both cars, say on weekends, rent kayo ng city for a day or two, so you get the real feel of the car and mabusisi nyo lahat; interior, exterior, spaciousness of interior, suspension, brakes, engine, fuel efficiency, etc. After the City rent kayo ng Vios and see the difference. This way, kahit mapagastos ng konti para sa rent ng both cars, you can decide very well para di sayang sa investment.

Ako nga I'm eyeing for the i-DSI City which I'm getting soon and get it lowered. I've seen a lowered CIty sa NLEX ang ganda ng porma and very fuel efficient pa plus all the better features that come with it.

Malaking kamurahan kasi. ehhehehe.

    malaking kamurahan?

the Vios J is 553k and only has power steering.

the City A is 572k and has power everything and is much roomier inside. not to mention the City 1.3L i-DSI is a much better commuter engine because the torque band is much lower than the Vios.

Same specs ba yun 553 at 572? I always thought the VIOS was much cheaper than that. Baka naman malaki discount sa Toyota? Honda kasi walang free halos kundi payong.
