May 5th, 2022 03:19 PM #12japanese/toyota muna.
i'd probably wait a few more years, for until we get longer-term feedback from chinese car users.
a few years ago, my relative purchased a korean car.
from his kuwentos, it seems, his newer korean car is not as reliable as his 20+ year old japanese car.

The Okavango is a great family mover. It is a Chinese brand, sure, but once you ride inside it really does seem like a far more expensive vehicle for the price.
And while the Innova is a best-seller, there are quite a few UV Express Innovas which kinda removes the upmarket sheen from it (although you can be sure that parts are aplenty).

I disagree (although jackpot ako kay misis, hahaha)
kung maganda lang hanap ng lalaki sa babae, ibig sabihin kaya ng lalaki gastusan lahat ng gusto at kailangan ni misis!
Just like the Okavango.
Maintenance sa casa. regular dapat PMS. kung kaya mo gastusan, then magandang car sya.
pero kung maintenance mo is kapag may nasira lang... then dun tayo sa practical.

Hehe Maintenance sa casa? Lokohan yan. Gatasan ng casa yung mga walang alam sa pag maintain ng kotse.
Para sa akin lang naman, yan gustong gusto ng casa, yung mga nagpapaloko sa kanila na kesyo mawawala warranty at kung ano ano pa.

May 5th, 2022 10:50 PM #18in fairness,
pms is preventive maintenance service.
it's to prevent breakdowns, usually by replacing items before they break down.
sometimes, replacement schedule is more about time or km, and not "how it looks or feels".
for obvious reasons, they're very meticulous about these in airplanes.
sometimes it may appear that they're too meticulous on cars. but that's probably a personal thing...
one can always decline the casa's proposed course of replacement activity...

Ako naman. Yes its PMS, before masira, papalitan na.
Pero siguro matanda na ako.
I prefer to just bring the car sa casa tapos balikan ko na lang sa hapon kapag tapos na.
Compared to other mechanics, gas stations and service station na tatanungin pa ako kung anong gagawin... Kung wala kang swerte, ikaw pa hahanap ng parts!
I used to do my own repairs nung 20-30 years old ako... Then I realized na di pala kamahalan sa gas station/servitek/rapide... Later, mas convenient pala sa casa na lang.

Buhay na buhay ang BGC this evening. Bukas halos lahat ng restaurants. Sabi pa nung isang cashier...
