Hi There! Am new here and would like to gather some info from all of you guys and gals.

I am planning to purchase a vehicle to replace my damn Ford Lynx, na nagiging sakit na sa ulo for the past 2 years.

I work on the field, ahente po kasi ako ng mga mechanical equipments, so out-of-town madalas ang byahe ko, knowing na di kagandahan ang mga kalsada naten dito kaya naiisip ko to go for a pick up (feeling ko kasi pang heavy duty at di ganun kadaling masira ang mga shocks) unlike sa lynx ko or other cars, pinalitan ko ng shocks last July, Thank God magpapalit na naman ako feeling ko mahihina ang shocks ng car (feeling ko lang po yun)

Main reason ko to have another car is magagamit ko sa work ko, paminsan minsang pwedeng gamitin to deliver industrial pumps, maging service ko na hindi ako ititirik sa loob ng NLEX (at baka mhuli na naman ako)

Gusto ko po sana to get your views and opinion, kung ano ang mas matibay, may matipid sa diesel, at hindi pwede ipangalso gaya ng Lynx ko

Hope you could give me suggestions!

    Ms. behn_axehl

If youre going to haul stuff I suggest you go for a pickup as opposed to an Innova becuse the Innova is designed mainly as a passenger carrier unlike the pickups that are specifically designed to carry loads. As for your choice between the Hilux and Strada both I think are ok although I would choose the Hilux because of better resale value.

Thanks sir Ron!

I think yung sirain is yung 2005 model and below na may problema sa fuel system which was corrected in the later models, we have a 2006 Hilux in the office mga 60,000km na ang takbo ok pa naman wala naman major repairs considering almost every day ang biyahe nito is Pasig-Sta Rosa Laguna-Pasig.

What's INNOVA G DSL doing on the choices?? Eww...

If i were to choose between Hilux and Strada, I'd get the Hilux. Haven't test drove both but i like the looks of the Hilux. Something's not right with the new look of the Strada, in my opinion lang naman. Plus the higher resale expected of the Hilux. I don't think may problem pa with the later models of the Hilux.

Bhen- looks is very subjective kya kung anu mganda at maporma para sayu yun ang kunin mo, madami rin thread dito overwhelming the performance and looks of a STRADA. I do not know much with the 2007 model of STRADA but im very happy owning a JAPORMS with MUSCLE pick-up na parang kotse ang ride. Maluwag din leg room ng passenger seats sa likod..and ikumpara mo design ng interior of HILUX at STRADA, cguradong mangingiti ka sa Strada. Pick the red one pards...gray kasi ang sakin pero hinahabol ko parati ng tingin ang pula...he..he.he.....nga pla napatakbo ko ng 180kph kanina sa NLEX di pa sagad ang pedal. naalala ko kasi sarap binata pko para mamatay..hek..hek..kya balik sa 120kph...hak...hak...gudluck sayu pards....balitaan mo kmi anu nabili mo....
