I would like to buy a Montero 2013 model? Can you tell me which model is better, the GLS V a/t or the GLX a/t? Thanks in advance!

depende sa route mo kung palaging trafic or city driving matic syempre medyo matigas kasi ang clutch ng monty sakit sa paa pag palaging stop and go ,pag hiway or provincial road I prefer manual we own a glx-v m/t dito kasi kami sa province....

Price difference is worth it if you're the one who's going to drive the car.
Ano pa ba ang pagkakaiba ng GLSV AT at GLX AT aside from 5 speed AT, paddle shifter, VGT engine at activated GPS?
Kung bibili ako ngayon ng Montero, with similar mix of city and highway driving as the TS,- I would buy the GLX A/T,- because 'I do not have the extra dough' for the VGT engine ++...
Magkano ba ang difference ng presyo between the 2 variants, bro?
17.3K:type:
GLX 4x2 A/T (non-vgt) - 1.278m
GLS 4x2 A/T VGT - 1.438m
puro net price na po iyan
to the thread starter, with all things being as it is, feeling ko yung main concern mo is if the vgt-engine is worth it to you. At this point the very best you could do is test drive a vgt and non-vgt montero so you can decide better. HTH. I have driven a vgt pero sa non-vgt passenger lang sa likod kaya i cannot compare directly. from that brief stint as a passenger wala naman ako na notice or feel different between the two variants.
p.s. Hinde ba 5-speed AT nadin ang GLX A/T?
If you can afford the extra 160t for the GLS-V, then go for it Sir. IMO, the extra 160t is worth the difference/upgrade/update it brings. And you'll feel that you are driving the RECENT model. If you buy the GLX, you'll always have that feeling na "sana yung GLS-V na lang binili ko" everytime you see it on the road, feeling mo pinaglumaan yung model mo.
But if you want to be on the practical side of things, then the GLX will do and spend the 160t on other important matters (not upgrading your unit). If you are not very particular sa extra power the VGT brings, sa touch screen GPS unit with backup camera, sa paddle shifters ( you will seldom use), sa 5 speed A/T na sa highway mo lang magagamit, then you'll be more than satisfied with the GLX.
At the end of the day, you'll be happy with the Montero Sport.
pag medyo madalas ka sa highway driving. get the GLS-V. much power. kung hindi ka naman mabilis magdrive, atleast sa overtake sa kasalubong mo, hindi ka maaalangan. pero kung medyo pure city, GLX na lang. 4 A/T ang GLX
Of course, the more expensive, the better but it depends in you on where are you going to use it.
