September 6th, 2008 09:19 PM #11pa-pogi-an lang ba ito? as if a facelift will be enough for the current fort to compete with the MS?

as for the drive, compare the hilux and strada, the hilux nearly stumble on an elk test/moose test done in europe. the strada performed amazingly there.
as for the looks, ive seen the facelifted fortuner in pics and ive seen enough. i think the MS looks better. saw one in person, boy it doesnt look like a Fuzion on steriods esp at the back. IMO, in person the back looks like an Audi!

September 7th, 2008 12:04 AM #13i was driving near festival mall alabang when i spotted a MS but as i approach... Fuzion pala... wow mali... may pagkakahawig yung back sa Fuzion and yung Front sa Strada...
pero stunning pa din yung dating ng MS in personal kasi bago sa paningin unlike ng Toyota Fortuner kahit kalalabas pa lang sa casa obsolete na agad lalo pa may facelifted na upcoming

Ako naman I was at Robinson's Ermita and saw this Sedona Red MS GLS SE from the back which I initially mistook for a Fuzion.... wow mali.... MS talaga and with plate number na siya... Plate niya "16" - front and back. RTC Judge? Hehe, basta opisyal, bilis no? One SA bragged to me that marami na politiko umorder sa kanya ng MS, pang backup sa mga bodyguards nila. Yaman talaga mga politko natin, pang backup lang ung MS.
Going back to my story, that proves to me talaga that the exterior of the FUZION and the new MS are kind of alike. From afar, you can really mistake one for the other. Nevertheless, I still like the MS over the Fortuner for a lot of reasons, and I'm not even a fan of Mitsu vehicles since the last Mitsu I bought and owned was the Lancer SL (Box Type) pa way back 1984.

Montero Sport! Hehehe!

The Montero Sport is less impressive on the flesh. I felt less excited when I saw her in the show room. I think its the front fascia...looks like a whale to me. My dissatisfaction increased when I sat on the 2nd row...too narrow for me. Haven't done a test drive...maybe it will redeem itself.
Fortuner pa din for me. Mas gwapo...kahit saan angulo very muscular ang apperance. Mas generous din ang space inside the Fortuner.
Bago lang sa paningin ang MS kaya marami ang na-e-excite. Lilipas din yan (excitement).
Pease to all.

September 18th, 2008 09:26 AM #19New looks and better suspension gives the montero the upper hand over the fort... even if the facelifted fort comes along...
maybe if the fort gets a land cruiser engine, (the same analogy used with the montero having the pajero engine) then maybe we'll have a battle....
maybe the fort just looks slightly better aesthetically... but when im shelling out more than a million pesos of my hard-earned money, then i prefer to spend it on functionality....

September 18th, 2008 10:26 AM #20mas gusto ko looks ng outlander than that of the montero. although i'd consider a montero but only if it has petrol edition. resale value-wise, i'd go for a toyota (can't beat the world's no.1 carmaker).
but it all boils down to buyers' preference talaga...it's either you buy from the mind or from the heart...lately, one buys from the pocket's capability hehe
