I am biased ,best "bang for the buck" CUV in the market today IMHO this is after I test drove new models of the Santa Fe, CRV, Mazda CX-7, and the RAV 4. Santa Fe came in close at 2nd. Performance, handling and functionality are the key factors for my purchase. Don't just take my word for it, take all your options for a test drive.

Batenga, in overall value.
cheap: PhP 1.53M only
Efficient engine: stock 150hp/335Nm (ecu chip: 185hp/395Nm) last Sat, even with 7 Adults, we managed to hit 190kph *3k rpm (and very stable mind you) - and that's with light traffic on Star Tollway. Too bad some people won't let a speeding car overtake. hehe.
Full leather seats, The fortuner even with the cheaply made kelseat isn't even comfortable to the ass and the back. I've driven and rode my friends' Fortuners a lot of times and it's the same thing.
Global Model, like the outlander, SF is sold in first world countries like US, UK, Canada and Australia. 5-Star IIHS crash test score.
If only Outlander came with CRDI VGT, it would've been a nice alternative to SF though im not sure if its suspension is as nice as SF's.
Design, need i say more? hehehe
Anyway, either of these cars are ok but i'd pick the SF anyday.
