Take note: Sabi nila, these are the most efficient vehicles they've tested... not the most efficient, period.

If they haven't tested a vehicle or taken note of its fuel consumption during the test, it won't be there.

    Of note:

Crosswind 2.5D MT - same mileage as Adventure... a bit lower in city if we're talking about the heavy tired XUVi.

RAV4 1.8 (which was still on sale at the time) - very frugal... smaller engine, and much lighter than other CUVs.

no compacts are listed: I'd expect the Civic 1.7 (still on sale, then) and Toyota 1.6 to be there... as well as the Nissan GX 1.3 (as it's the only "compact" left with a 1.3 liter engine).

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Yung Crosswind 2.5D m/t tipid nga pero medyo compromised ang power! (acceleration and hill climbing)

the chevy lumina was a shock considering its little Chevy Optra brother with a 1.6L engine can only get 6-8km/L.

AFAIK, their bigger displacement engines are relatively frugal due to good torque, longer gearing and lower engine speeds than their higher-strung Japanese counterparts.
