    Looks - Ranger - 9 / D-Max - 8
    Fuel Efficiency - Same - 9
    Power - Ranger - 8 / D-Max -7
After-Sales - Depends, really, on the dealership.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Dmax if you want better before and after sales service. Most Ford dealers nowadays can give you a harder time getting the Ranger because its sought after.

I do agree the Ranger is more handsome but, in the long run the Isuzu will last longer than the Ranger. Help me out here sir D_Mac.

Isuzu engine will last longer, no question about that. Pero kung gaano mo katagal gusto i-keep yung sasakyan, another question ulit yan.

Yung pang ilalim lang ng isuzu ata ang mahina sa kanya, pero sabi nga ng mga buy and sell, mura lang naman palitan.

A Ranger will also last as long as a D-Max. It all depends on how a vehicle is maintained.

IMHO, pick-ups should have large displacement engines since they're built for cargo and hauling of heavy loads (within capacity).

For a wide bodied p-up like the Ranger, a 2.2 litre engine is just too puny. Yeah, I know ... its fast and looks very macho.

But that is today. How about 5 to 10 years from now?

huh! what the hell are you talking about???? 2 word for you lolo "research development" your statement might be true during the late 1900's-1980's but this is 2014.

a modern engine today could produce more horsepower and torque with a very little engine displacement.

check the post and comments of niky and kindly read the specs of both crewcab

As an Isuzu owner, their trucks are built to last. This and the fuel consumption. Trust me on this.
Porma can only get you this or that far. Lasting dependability is a trait a yeoman's truck should possess foremost.

True esp for current CRDI M/T. Lower displacements tends to be peaky you end up flogging the clutch..

This is why i prefer AT for hauling because it takes care of torque distribution. Step on the pedal and you don't need to worry with power distribution, all it needs is the turbo to kick in and power is there without stalling/ riding the clutch.

With the advent of bi-turbo, gearing, hdc, and more electronics, etc, i'm a believer there is a replacement for displacement. Trend now will be smaller engines for lesser carbon footprint, more induction and electronic controls..
