    Which is the better buy?

    1) Tamaraw FX GL 5K engine, excellent body, underchassis, interiors, dual aircon. Don't know about engine condition, but is in running condition. Selling at 190K negotiable.

    2) Mitsubishi L200 for bidding by Land Bank. Branch service waiting tob be auctioned. Running condition before put in storage for 5 months (not used/fired up since then). Fair body condition, no aircon. Minimum bid: 90K.

    Thanks.

This is between picking an apple and an orange since it's an AUV vs pickup. But I'm still going to answer your inquiry with a question, what's the year model of both?

Both in good condition, i'd easily pick the L200. Iba kase naka pick-up eh. Big tires lang and its already 1000x pogi points na ang dating.

but, as is, in your choices i'd get the FX. Mas Ok condition and got AC. Also, not sure naman na makukuha mo yun at 90K as it is bidding. Another, repossessed may mga nagsasabi na pag repo minsan binabalasubas na ng may-ari ang pag-gamit bago ipahatak. Hirap na.

Madali lang ata i-restore ang L200.

Mga tsikoteers, lets help julskey breakdown the costs in restoring the L200 para may idea sya.

    1) Engine (Overhaul ???)
    2) Interior (Aircon etc)
    3) Exterior (Dents, Rusts etc.)
    4) Suspension & Underchassis (Kalampag etc)

Julskey, please post po ang year and if a picture is available. Please post it.

Kung makakakuha ka ng good condition na 1996 or 1997 FX between 150k to 170k yun na lang kunin mo for me mas ok pa rin ang mas bago.

Thanks All for your responses. The FX already went. It was on display just a week.

As for the L200, It was not a repo'ed vehicle. It was the bank's service vehicle in Tawi-tawi, meaning it's used for city driving only - for teller pickup. The cabin is still good, no rust, good doors. Only the cargo floor and sides are rust 'infested', but, is still solid and intact. Also, tube connections at engine has rust. I don't have pictures, but I think this is the model being followed by the Strada. Btw, the bank is also planning to auction their hilux - currently in use.

So this means i'll be waiting for the auction. But in the mean time i'll be eyeing for other options. Thanks again.

Good to know that sir... You could also check tsikot.biz for some ads. A direct seller is always better than banks imo.

Given the following choices, it all depends on the use of the vehicle. If you need to move people, get the FX. For cargo, L-200. That simple.
