If you still can haggle to lower the 50k out of pocket. Baka Kasi Meron leak Yan R&P just to cover for the repair just in case.

Actually sir nanggaling to sa 70k. Hanggang after a week nagconfirm siya sa 50k. May mga issues din kasi vios sir na wala ipapagawa ko pa sana pero kung papayag siya na as is na yun vios then add ako 50k much better for me assuming na in very good condition talaga yun fd pag nakita namin. Given the conditions, wil it be a good deal na mga sir? Thanks!

I'd trade in my Vios for the FD assuming the FD is really in great condition.

The second-gen Vios is so boring to drive. Manual makes the most of the 1.3, but there's not much power to begin with. At least it's very efficient.

The FD is a lot of fun, especially with a manual. Great steering and suspension, lots of top-end powet. Seats are hard though but you can always get seat covers for better cushioning. More space too for rear occupants, and of course the Civic looks much more presentable.

Salamat guys!

    hah!
i guess, the gods are telling you to be happy with your head-less car.

as an aside, LTO allows open deed of sale naman, as long as the original documents are on hand. but if we had a choice, why would we settle for it, 'no? i personally prefer dealing with the owner-seller. mas madali ring tawaran.

Mas madaming cash if he intends to sell it than to swap.

    Vios 2010 1.3E
    -150k mileage
    -some minor issues like

    Civic 2006 1.8S
    -68k mileage
    -sobrang kinis
    -zero kalampag
-all stock as in lahat halos walang ginalaw

Assuming na macheck namin yun civic at in a very good condition talaga to. Good deal na po ba ito?

    TIA sa inputs mga tsikoteers!
Kung all stock ang civic that means ikaw sasalo ng lahat ng palitin nyan, which is likely sooner rather than later. 2006 model e. Better be prepared sa emergency funds.

This is my point too. Bka the civic has a major problem that the owner is keeping a secret until he swaps with you. I don't see anyone trying to swap an fd for a vios.

Even if walang hidden issues, more likely mauunang bumigay ang parts ng fd since mas older. I mean i get that its an fd and upgrade nga naman in terms of name plate and driving experience. But if in the next year or two sakit pala sa ulo, baka di worth it.
