June 6th, 2012 11:39 AM #1im pondering kung anong okay na bnew sa budget na 450k.so the obvious selection is yung k10,i10 or eon.
im leaning towards alto kahit pangit ang porma.kasi subok na ang alto.yung i10. medyo daming bad reps and hyundai. the least thing na ineexpect ko is sakit ng ulo. yung eon naman nabasa ko na mabagal daw ang response.e minsan may pinupuntahan kami sa baguio so pano nalang. sa mga nakatry na ng tatlo.please share your inputs
and besides wala na yata ng manual na i10 na 1.0.yun kasi pinakamura na i10 which is 440k

June 7th, 2012 10:58 AM #2AFAIK the Hyundai i10 na base is around 478k, so over na sya sa budget mo, unless you're willing to stretch it a bit. Yung K10 and EON, 1k lang difference. 438k for the EON, 439k for the K10.

kung porma (exterior, interior) then go sa EON. 800cc (438k)
kung iwas sakit sa ulo (yung subok na since I own one but the F8D version) at mas malakas sa lumang Alto 800cc then go for an Alto K10. 1000cc (439k)
kung talagang magtitipid sa budget kahit pangit ang porma pero subok na through many years (you can research it kung gaano katagal na itong maruti alto na ito) then go for Alto F8D 800cc. (369k)
kung mag-eextend ka ng budget, then maybe you can test drive the i10.

Long term reliability, Alto K10. Ang tipid pa. It doesn't look bad. Although personally, preferred ko talaga i10 over any Alto or Eon. PEro mukhang di naman kaya ng budget mo

June 7th, 2012 12:17 PM #6Try mo din maghanap pa sa dealer kung meron pang Alto DLX 408k lang yun, parang Alto STD but with power steering and body colored bumpers.
pwede mo pang gamiting yung extra 42k mo for mods like wider tires, foglamps, HID, or spoiler, or air intake para dagdag hatak.Last edited by germs; June 7th, 2012 at 12:19 PM. Reason: additional info

June 14th, 2012 03:35 PM #7i have an i10 1.1L base model (black bumpers) and so far its been great. capacity wise, 3 people can sit comfortably sa likod. trunk space is amazingly huge. design wise ok na din since i believe the current design will last for 3years. I was not able to fully inspect the interiors of the Eon, pero it looks small and good for 4 max. but outside it looks great. engine is .8L so i think you wont be able to maximize much in that area.
before i got the i10 i did consider the alto k10. looks way better than the 1st alto, pero parang mabilis din maluma yung design. plus seating is 4 max. pero i believe suzuki's engine is way more reliable than sa hyundai.
so if your going with capacity i10. for engine reliability k10, design eon.

kaya pero "hirap" which is obvious naman for the size of it's engine. it means babad ka sa 2nd gear in high revs.
