i am looking for as said in the title an SUV/Van/Minivan for around 1M that:
1.) can seat six people or more
2.) reliable and have cheap parts
    3.) good safety features
    4.) good resale value
    5.) comfortable
    6.) manual transmission
    7.) diesel
looked around and so far the ones i've found are Toyota Innova and Isuzu XWind. recommendations and testimonials/reviews are greatly appreciated

At that budget range, i'd look at a slightly used Starex CRDi. You can get a '05 to '06 model at around 850K.

If brand new, an Innova or Kia Carens. The Innova has a better 3rd row seating space AFAIK.

+1. If you're open to slightly used, go for a Starex GRX CRDi (SWB version, seats 9 heavier-than-average-Asians very comfortably).

The Kia Carens with CRDI engine is a shade under P900k. It's got a 6 speed manual tranny. It seats 7 average-Asians ok, and drives like a car.

The Innova E MT D-4D or G MT D-4D come to around P1M. It's not as fast as the Carens, but it's no snail. It seats 7 average-Asians more comfortably than the Carens, IMO, because of a slightly bigger last row.

The Crosswind will seat at least 7. But unlike the 3 previously mentioned, whose 3 rows all face forward, the Crosswind's behind 2nd row seats face sidewards. According to Crosswind owners, it's quite thrifty, but it is slow and old, compared to the competition.

There are quite a few threads with some good discussions on these options. You can use the search function to look for them. Good luck.

zebrax2: If ozcity is selling his 2004 Previa at P1M, then that should be a good buy....

Kamusta konsumo ng Previa? I really liked the Previa ozcity's selling when it first came out.

i will have to turn your offer down. Even though it sounds like really good deal we (since im not the only one deciding that would be selfish of me) are really leaning towards on having a brand new car. sorry if i wasted your time since i should have posted that in my first post

Anyway thanks again to all those who helped
