Hello, tsikoteers! I need your advice po in buying a brand new SUV.

    Here are my requirements:
    - As much as possible, diesel engine po, we can consider gas engines
    - Good FC, more or less 9km/l
    - Again, as much as possible, compact size
    - We are a family of 5, but I might need a 7-seater. So full time 5 seater, part time 7 seater po. We can consider a 5 seater.
    - Ample cargo space, let's say 8 balikbayan boxes patong-patong, so 4 over 4 <== not all the time, just an example lang po how big is the cargo space we require
    - Brand image doesn't matter, we might or can consider Chinese cars
    - Our budget is exactly P1,000,000, but we can push up slightly
    - We don't like to consider vans, masyado na pong malaki.
    - We can consider other SUV-similar vehicle types such as AUV and MPV

    No choices in mind yet...

    Thank you po

Afaik pasok yung Montero Sport 2.5 GLX 4x2 sa needs mo. Dagdag ka kunti. Or if mataas na, hanap ka nang 2nd hand na mga 1-2 years old pa lang.

Yung base model Tucson. Or Ford Escape.

O di kaya Avanza 1.5G. Kung kaya Montero GLX, dun na, pero baka masyadong malaki for you.

2013 Montero GLX M/T, maganda at matipid sa krudo. If you decide on this one double check sa forum yung trustworthiness ng distributor.

Innova fits your needs although 8 balikbayan boxes may be difficult to pack in.

For focus on fuel efficiency, the Innova is a practical choice. Get the 2.5E M/T variant at 989k.

Chinese cars are getting better, but I'd suggest against getting one as of this time since even if some brands already offer quality vehicles, parts supply is still questionable.

Are you open to 2nd hand cars? If you are, you get much more choices. There are the 2.5L variants of the Montero Sport and Everest and even the Santa Fe R e-VGT.

In terms of fuel consumption, it will still depend on your driving style and traffic conditions. But all of them are able to get at least 8km/L city if driven sensibly.

Thank you po sa mga sagot! :D I'll try to consider the mentioned vehicles. Yung Innova daw po, may bagong labas next year?

Just curious, any news when the all-new 2013 Kia Carens will come out? I've heard it's next month? I think the starting price is around P1,140,000 based on sulit.com.ph? We might consider it.

Also, will the Hyundai i40 Wagon be introduced here in the Philippines? Same as with the Chevrolet Spin? We might consider them also.

Kapag SF or TB naman, mayabang kasi mayaman.

:bwahaha:

I don't like installing mags. I prefer the stock ones. MS with bigger mags than the wheel is disgusting to look at. And that's just me.

18" naman so use the same tires. Hehe

HAHA
