di naman city yan mga actual figures ko *tidus, yan yun worst case scenario na tipong rush hour traffic. so add ka lang 1 or 2 liter kung normal city ko kasi di naman ako 9 to 5 worker.

pero yun lang masabi ko sarap mag-drive ng mini-suvs talaga, my Jimny and now my wife's new kia soul. ingget nga ako kay ghost meron na pala sya ASX. kahit pangit nguso nun, i think it's so manueverable and efficient.

ganun naman talaga ngaun, basta compact and light mas ok, parang cellphone, the bulkier you carry the slower and more inefficent u are

It's just an upgrade from my Lancer EX (which got totaled in an accident in late Feb).

Drives much like a sedan with a wee bit more suspension travel. The least CUV-ish with a bonus that it uses the same engine/tranny of the EX resulting in good fuel economy with a dash of great performance (the ASX weighs the same as the Lancer EX GTA).

Swapping in the engine mods I had with the EX should give it the same power gains/performance.

    I still don't like SUVs.

I don't think the Kia Soul 1.6 A/T is that bad in terms of fuel consumption.

Maybe your wife's driving habit might be a bit heavy footed.

Factory fuel economy is supposed to be 11-12 km/L
