Price is about right. I used it on our VVTi Innova. It did help in bumper to bumper traffic and city drives, considering my foot is used to the instantaneous low end turbo diesel torque. With the controller, the pedal became more sensitive to light inputs.
Not sure if the Altis's lag is as bad as the Innova's though.

February 19th, 2014 03:22 AM #14in terms of maintainability ( inside and outside of casa), spare parts availabiliyy ( in and out of casa), and outside casa technical support... which one's better?
ive heard na problem sa starex ( hyundai in general) was parts availability ( not sure how true) so pag long term ownership, what to expect from these two?

With the large numbers of Hyundais -- Starexes in particular -- roaming our streets, there are non-casa alternatives for parts that are much more cost effective than casa. Pay a visit to the GS thread on the Hyundai board for more details. I don't think Hyundai is that far off in terms of parts. Sure there are a lot more Toyota dealers and parts suppliers per se, but perhaps the gap is not that wide when specifically narrowing down the choices to GS and SG.

If that's the case, then hindi rin pala lahat ng nakaka-afford sa kanila ay hindi frugal mag-isip...
