I'm sure lalakas ang benta ng Motor Image with the new Impreza. Sana dagdagan nila service centers para hindi puro taga Corinthian, White Plains, Valle Verde, at Green Meadows ang bumibili!

Sad to say, their expansion is probably NOT northward. I haven't seen another subaru around my town other than those just passing by on road trips!

In order to criticize something you must first experience it :D

Test drive... then choose. Both look good on paper.

Car And Driver just did a review of the 2008 Impreza 2.5i:

    170hp/170lb-ft torque
    5-speed M/T
    0-60mph: 7.6sec
    Quarter-mile: 15.9sec * 87mph
    300ft Skidpad: 0.78 g
    Fuel Economy City Driving: 20mpg
    Braking 70 mph-0: 179ft

Definitely a softer car than the previous generation. 0.78 g..... Gee, even my lumbering whale of a car, the 06 Sonata, can manage 0.79 g. I'm not sure if AWD would've helped. I did expect better numbers for the N/A 2008 Impreza.

But for street use, 0.78g is more than plenty for maneuvering around.

The Impreza 2.0R would be a nice alternative to the common Civic.
Are the Sports/STI accessories already available here?
skirts, lip spoiler, grill and wheels?

I think that's more the tires than anything else. The standard RE92s are crap, tirerack.com ratings:

    5.1/10
20th (out of 21 tires in its class)
Would You Buy This Tire Again? Most said: "Definitely Not" (Average of 2.4 out of 10)
