    It's very bare kase.

Kona might be the best choice here, but with PH specs, it's a downer.

    Vitara GLX surely wins here.

Just wait for the facelifted version, turbo na lahat ng variants haha.

Bare is actually good for some people. Less gadgets, less expensive repairs in the future. The Kona actually is not that bare. Based on their website, it even has DRL and push button start which for some strange reason, some people have a real raging hard-on with those.

But then again, Hyundai has a reputation for scrimping in safety features... At least the Kona has 2 airbags.

Would you mind sharing where you for that price? Very enticing. Thanks.

How is it bare compared to the ones abroad with the same engine? What features is it lacking?

Not bad narin. Meron steering wheel control, cruise control, sport, normal and eco mode, push start, DRL, bluetooth, etc. Nakalimutan ko na yung iba. Ang bare lang talaga ng headunit. For 998k, I am really considering this.

Juke rin pala, ok sana kasi Japan CBU pero the style is not for me, at pinalitan na siya ng Kicks. Dami rin niya awards like #1 subcompact SUV. Talo Soul, CX3, CHR, HRV, Subaru Crosstek, etc.

You may want to add the KIA Soul to your list

    Considerations:

    1. Budget is 1M ( 1.1M max)- Base model is 995K

    2. Reliable and Fuel efficient - 1.6L VGT CRDi Diesel 128 hp * 4,000 rpm, 300 Nm * 1,750 rpm

    3. At least 185mm ground clearance - only 160mm but light to drive, kind of like a sedan.

    4. Easy to find parts - 5 year warranty or 160,000 Kms.

    6. Can fit at least 4 people comfortably although I will be alone driving 80% of the time. Very roomy inside, you'd be surprised.

    7. Has a large boot/rear storage capacity with 2nd row seats folded. If it can fit a 65" TV in a box thats great. -Rear folding seats, the rear boot sinks down so items don't slide out on their own.

    8. No Rush/Expander types[emoji3] Totally agree with you here, avoid the headaches.

    9. Comfortable to drive - Test drove one and it was like a roomier Jimny. Power steering is standard.

Just as suggestion because I had shortlisted this before I fell in love with it's elder sister, the Sporty.

    Good hunting. Drive safe.

You're right, they're phasing it out for a newer model, the Stonic/ Seltos.

I guess you could get a better deal now, they must be rushing to sell them.

P995K SRP sir Chronicle. I will ask what the discount is.

    Update:

The SA in KIA Pampanga says they can offer P50K cash discount, 3-year LTO and Huper Optik Tint.

They have 4 units left in stock, manual tranny, all-power windows and steering.

Oh thanks. I guess the 50k discount is still not enough to entice buyers. Hehe.

Shame, the soul looks better compared to its competitors (except kona) but previous kia cant even capitalize on it
Maybe ayala will bring in the 3rd gen.

The 3rd Gen Soul looks really good.

Sa US ang Kona and Soul yung parang Vios nila dun. Kalat na kalat. Dami rin Nissan Rogue.
