September 13th, 2012 01:20 PM #1Hey Guys,
I am currently deciding between these pickups and I wanted to get opinions on which is better.
I am looking at the following factors:
1.) Comfort - If I travel in Metro Manila for an hour, I don't want to get backaches or soreness from humps or holes.
This includes the backseats as well.
2.) Power - If I go out of town or get through floods, which would I want to be in.
3.) Durability - Wear and Tear
Car Choices:
- Strada 2.5 GLX V 4x2 AT 1,070,000
- Strada 2.5 GLS Sport V 4x4 AT 1,315,000
- HILUX 4x4 G 3.0 Dsl A/T Php1,474,000.00

Comfort? Strada na. Matagtag yun Hilux eh. Power, Strada pa rin coz of its VGT. Durability, I'd say both will last long w/o having any major problems

September 13th, 2012 03:00 PM #3Thanks Renzo_d10 for the comments.
I'll try to test out the Strada and check comfort.
About the Hilux and Matagtag, ganun din Fortuner namin na 2010 model. If matagtag din Hilux, then malaking problem yun, sakit ng fortuner sa likod pagnagdridrive eh

Hilux 3.0 D-4D is MO-BETTA in my honest opinion.
Bigger 3.0-litre engine, newer engine (the 1KD-FTV engine is a 2001 model engine) but lesser boost than the smaller and older 2.5-litre 4D56 (a 90's engine, at mausok pati lalo na pag binirit) that was upgraded only with a VGT and thereafter heavily marketed to the easily mesmerised public.
If I have to buy a pickup again (but only if I have to buy), and these two are the only available options, it's a no-brainer to go for the Hilux.

Ill go with Strada...but why don't you also take a look at the Ford Ranger....
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
