one criteria for me on buying a truck/car is the interior... because that's mainly what i see most of the time.. being almost at par with each other i'd say i pick the strada because i like its interioir more
i'll chose the navarra. its engine performance iscompare to the strada. plus the 6 speed tranny is superb

Im sorry to tell you but the nissan navara was in the market since 2006. pero ngayon lang dumating sa pilipinas. so the looks its almost the same with old frontier.. see this wep page to confirm everything..http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Navara.... to see the whole story of navara.. peace be with you..
What im telling is that nasa pinas tayo late dec 2007 lumabas ang
2008 navara so anyone can expect that seeing a navara on a road its understood its a 2008 model unit sure na bago yan...
If you buy a strada now kahit anong variants pa yang model. its still look like a 2006 model (mukhang luma parin & doesnt look new) kasi 2006 lumabas yang strada sa pinas, if you see a strada on the road you cant tell if its new or not kasi nothings change so mukhang ordinary strada na lang..
ive read all those reviews and kanya kanya opinion yanpeace!
natatawa lang ako sa thread neto.
sir boybakal, eh comes next year... if somebody ask if strada or navara, what will you tell them?
peace.
Get the Navarra -- for the aircon. Get the Strada for everything else.![]()
Well, the Montero Sport was only released locally in 2005.
So using your reasoning, does it automatically follow that it's a 2005 model, even when it's common knowledge that the MS has been around since 1997?

Kanya kanyang taste lang yan... Kung saan ka na lang masaya. One thing w/c made me choose the Strada over the Navara is... I don't like NISSAN! May napansin lang ako... since na-launch ang Navara nung Dec 2007, once pa lang ako nakasalubong ng Navara...
For safety alone, Strada.
As much as I like the Navarra because of the nice front and aircon, the safety issue is really a big deal for me.
- side sa nissan is nowadays madaling bumaba ang resale value ng newer nissan models ..remember nissan commonwealth? o ehdi IBM na ngaun .. hehe
for me i'll go for strada .. if i have money though![]()
CRDI technology was already present during the era of old engines, but not in the Phils. This technology was recently adopted globally to cope up with problem of fuel shortage and stringent regulations for NOx reduction. European nations were the first ones to adopt this technology because they developed it. It so happened that Nissan's now French and Mitsu's still American. Americans are well known to be non-responsive to eco-friendly engines because of the politics in oil. They have even killed the electric cars.
Technology wise, id go for the French. Mitsus are just flashy and full of aesthetics, its even considered as a lemon brand in the US.
IMO people who already own Stradas are just forced to patronize their rides because they already have them. Maybe we should just listen to people who own both these vehicles and who can make a more objective and unbiased view. Come to think of it, Navara was even more than one year behind the Strada when it was released in the Phil market thats why theres actually no point in comparing at this early.
One thing is for sure, there are more Strada than Navara owners now. Hence, there are more people biased for Strada.![]()
your first sentence is a well known fact, we can stipulate on that. however, your conclusion may not be true... greater number of owners, per se, does not entail that the vehicle is good and they are biased. but numerous owners WHO LOVE their rides clearly speaks for the quality of the vehicle.

I'd like to say, instead of biased, there is significant product confidence in the strada hence the reason strada owners have grown in number. Is there product confidence in the consumer market for the navara? This we have to see by the end of the year. In this aspect, the strada had already proven itself. And in my opinion, will again prove itself this year.
