I agree with ron. Since it's going to be a rental/for hire, maintenance will probably be more important to you, as the owner, over the perceived additional comfort. Unless of course kung ikaw ang kasamang driver. Mas maaalagaan mo but then iba pa din ang gumagamit/sumasakay.
The TCi GS will have that additional prestige/dating factor vs the Urvan, but then when that wears off, you'll basically realize you need headcount and not much more.

July 20th, 2012 01:53 PM #6By for rent/for hire you mean yung tipong may pinaparenta on per day basis for excursions and the like? If so, OK na yung Starex. Mas mataas ang masisingil mo as compared to other vans for obvious reasons. It will also attract more renters due to superior ride comfort.
Yung Commuter malakas humatak at napakatipid talaga sa krudo, yun nga lang ang tagtag. Siksikan ang upuan, na wala pang headrest. Mas mahal din ang operational costs nito dahil high tech na.

So far, haven't heard any stories like the ones about the previous GRX AC.
The TCI is desirable for rent because it's more attractive to renters due to the extra space and comfort over the Commuter and Urvan.
If you're doing rentals, why not consider two secondhand vans instead of one new one?Last edited by niky; July 21st, 2012 at 01:03 AM.

July 22nd, 2012 12:48 AM #10ok yan starex if comfort is your primary concern. medyo mas malakas lang ng konti FC compared commuter and urvan. pero yung magrerent naman magbabayad gas di ba? pero pag papatagalin mo talaga, commuter or urvan na
Puwede i try, 1. Palit air filter 2. Linis throttle body 3. Linis MAF sensor 4. Check spark...
high idle RPM at engine start
