    Get the Innova.
It was actually Honda who classified the CR-V among the likes of Revo, Crosswind and Adventure. It ridiculously had 10 seatbelts whereas its intended capacity is only half that. It actually worked positively (sales) and negatively (no longer that classy compared to RAV and the others) for them.

if you are patient enough sa byahe mag isuzu ka, more or less mahuhuli ka talga sa hatawan sa hi way. kung sportivo e sa new adventure na ako, mas tahimik mas mabilis and mas comfort. my cousin has 1 and it is absolutely lovely to drive, kawawa lang mga crosswind sa habulan i tell you, diesel din yon.

Innova. I never get to outrun these things. The ride is also much more comfortable than the leaf-springed sportivo.

Innova syempre. I dont like the ride of Sportivo. maingay na, matagtag pa. Kakabili pa lang ng Bro-in law ko ng Black Sportivo A/T at napansin ko na napaka-usok while climbing cannon road. Mukhang nabibilaukan while shifting gears.

I just want to share an objective view on this discussion:

For me it still depends on the preference of the user. I just owned a 2007 Sportivo AT. I was also able to test drive the new Innova G Diesel that was my alternative choice in buying. These are my personal observations:

    RIDING COMFORT
Innova Diesel is just like driving a car. But with the new SPORTIVO, I was surprised to feel like it was softer to ride than the INNOVA due maybe to the fact the Innova had smaller wheels or maybe it had over inflated tires. Of course driving SPORTIVO is just like driving a pick up.

    ENGINE NOISE:
I believe the new SPORTIVO (2007) has already improved. I knew how noisy XWIND was before. But when I compared the noise with that of the INNOVA diesel, they have the same engine noise outside. Meaning, XWIND has already managed to minimize noise and vibration of the engine. Though Innova seemed quieter if you were inside due to a more compact interior.

    EXTERIOR:
I like the SPORTIVO more than the INNOVA.

    INTERIOR:
Innova beats hands-down the SPORTIVO. It's the XWIND interior that has not improved. If XWIND want to maintain market, then it's high time that they also improve its interior.

    AUDIO SETUP:
Sportivo has a DVD system though INNOVA has, for me, a better sound balance that you don't need additional sub woofer for the INNOVA to sound good inside.

    ENGINE PERFORMANCE:
Innova beats hands-down again SPORTIVO. The INNOVA diesel takes easy to accelerate from low speed and it accelerates as though you are driving a gas variant. SPORTIVO took time to get to its top speed. SPORTIVO is not for those after speed and performance.

    FUEL EFFICIENCY
I did not have a chance to measure both performances.

Go for the Toyota Innova G diesel! Mas matipid 'to sa gas. Masikip lang sa 3rd row. Engine is medyo tahimik. Plus it's cheaper.

Isuzu Crosswind Sportivo smoke belcher- I saw one a while ago, grabeng smoke belcher! Kahit idle, may bumubugang usok sa muffler. AT varient seems to be slower than Kia Prides... dahil nakasakay nako sa isa- inovertake kami nang Kia Pride! Napakaingay pa ang makina!
More expensive, but you get 2 headrest-mounted LCD screens, and the front passenger seat, may massager! Tigas!

Go for the Innova, I tell you.

We already test drove the innova last weekend kaya lang medyo bitin,sa parking lot lang kasi ng world trade kaya di masyado maihataw, mas ok sana kung kahit sa konting lubak din pero overall rating maganda nga talaga ang innova, ganda ng interior.Anyway nagdecide na yung cousin ko na we'll get the innova diesel G variant. BTW after pala namin sa world trade, nagpunta rin kami sa isuzu otis tumingin din kami ng sportivo to see the difference, panalong panalo ang interior ng innova, macho lang talaga ang sportivo at matatag (tama ba?). Question lang, mas maganda ba talaga ang aluminun engine block compared to solid metal engine block like the 4JA1? di ba mas matatag kung solid metal?

Indeed Innova is more comfy, quieter, etc. Sportivo is more of a macho ride like what you said.
But it all boils down to the question: How are you going to use your ride; normal family car or hauling, toughie macho machine?

Squala, I don't know about you, but I still prefer our 04' CR-V than Rav 4s and X-trails. As long as you get the 5 seater version of the CR-V, it's all good.

innova G kc carlike performance, tibay toyota at accesible, mura parts.

Hehehe... Kung Between Innova And crosswind Innova pa rin...
