Thanks.

I started a similar thread comparing Innova, Sportivo and Everest. It took me more than 1 month of actual check up, test drive and comparing their pros and cons. I'm pretty sure that more than a month of everyday comparo is more than enough to justify my choice. Go for Innova G M/T Gas!

The only thing nice in the Sportivo is the really efficient engine, but a lousy automatic hampers performance. The Innova's D4-D should also be economical, and I'm pretty sure it's quicker than the Isuzu. The Toyota's automatic is easily more intelligent as well, so performance is just adequate. The manual is also great for traditional driving.

Gas or diesel, M/T or A/T, you can't go wrong with the Innova

Not to mention rather expensive engine repairs and parts replacement. Oh, and don't forget the defects.

Based on appearance alone, I would get any variant of the Innova anytime over the Sportivo. Besides, Isuzu has priced themselves out of the market. If price were the basis for comparison, I rather get a Toyota Innova G DSL A/T and have spare change for other things or pay Php 5k more to get a Honda CRV 4x2 A/T or Ford Everest 4x2 A/T over the Sportivo XUV A/T anytime.

Sportivo - proven facts, kaya nga maraming negative as well as positive remarks.
Innova - it still have to prove itself since this is practically new. Give it a couple of years or so, lalabas din ang mga problema nito.

Believe me, you'd rather have an Innova G than a Honda CRV 4x2 or Everest 4x2. ^_^ Interior design and comfort of an Innova G is incomparable to the latter cars esp the Everest. LOL.

I understand why you chose an Innova but I beg to differ. In terms of comfort nothing (compared to other body and chassis based vehicles) can beat the car chassis based unibody CRV or other vehicles like it (X-trail, Escape, etc), hands down. So that would mean less body roll, vibrations, sniggles, etc compared to an Innova. The CRV's bigger tires and all around design allows it more moderate off-road capabilities compared to an Innova. On the other hand, Ford Everest is really an aging beast, both appearance and mechanically. I would consider it only if all else fails.

I would get an Innova also, but I believe they are pricing it too much esp. the G variants.

    Incomparable?

The CRV will outclass the Innova ANYTIME (except for cargo space).

    A_eyE,

We have both an Innova and a CR-V. The CR-V simply outclasses the Innova, no question.

    DieselDI,

    Get the Innova.
