i posted that price drop. the 1.590 variant is now 1.430m. some dealers may even give discount pa. the 1.790 seven seater is now 1.690m.

I see, 1.430M sounds more like it. So for 100k over the bare 1.330M Sorento, we get:

- fog lamps
- roof rails
- color-keyed side mirrors (still w/o turn signal repeaters)
- rear spoiler
- more colors?
- cargo cover?

Sa interior wala namang difference diba?

Now I wonder if it's better to get the cheaper one and have the goodies added outside the casa...

Hehehe! Intriguing question. To me, what would matter is the cargo cover. I can get the side mirrors painted, and will pay a visit to garyq for the fogs, so that leaves the roof rails and spoiler as nice to haves. How much for just the cargo cover? Anyone have an idea?

how can they have a good one if wala naman ata talaga bare model na diesel even internationally? Kia has the bare gasoline that's a given - even the Kia factory in America produces it. Pero sa nakita ko sa ibang forums even the Europeans with diesel, wala naman bare Sorento without roof racks , foglights etc. usually pag diesel even if LX may roof rack eh.

Kung anuman yan NASA lineup ng Kia columbian regarding the entry diesel ones, Parang dito Lang ata na-offer yan

Oh, it was mentioned before, I just don't know if it was this thread or the one in the Kia Forum:
1.230M = LX CRDI bare Manual
1.330M = LX CRDI bare Auto
1.430M = LX CRDI bare Auto with roof rack, fogs and cargo cover (IIRC)
1.430M = LX CRDI bare Auto AWD

Mukhang dito nga lang na-offer sa atin yung bare diesel units. Or perhaps other markets did not really care for a barebones diesel unit, such that the real LX was bare enough for them. My friend did some scouting in Pampanga and he saw a bare silver LX diesel auto for P1.330M. He showed it to the wifey and that won her over from the Sportage. He didn't get to sell his Carens yet which is why he didn't take the Sorento then. That was when the SA offered a P1.430M not-so-bare LX.
