mura nga ang used EU cars... because parts and maintenance are expensive, and, i suspect, the quality of maintenance personnel is poor.... compared to asian cars.

Market forces dictate the price of second hand cars. Euro mura nga ang second hand but yari pag may nasira.
I think there are a lot of us that were tempted and bought euro cars till some thing broke and break they do. Seem worse in breaking against japanese cars.

Not really. What does the Accent 1.4S (828k) offer that the Vios 1.3E (778k) doesn't? What does the Elantra 1.6S (1.08M) have that the Altis 1.6V (999k) doesn't?

The Hyundais are even more expensive than their equivalent Toyotas. No wonder Hyundai is losing its #3 spot in terms of sales to Ford.

Yap you're correct for that instance but try to compare their suv to other suv's like toyota,ford,mits,etc.

IIRC Tucson TOTL CRDi was P1.7M, now its about P1.4M. hehe
