    Hi good day to everyone!

I am planning to buy my first car and I am thinking of getting a small car due to parking constraints. I'm choosing between a second hand suzuki swift or a brand new chevrolet spark. I know guys you are all experts so i hope you can give me your expert opinion.

The Swift is a nice car and is fun to drive, but the Spark is more useful, has better economy and better leg room.

how's the preformance po kaya ng chevrolet spark sa mga hi-ways like NLEX? Hindi kaya sa small size nito eh mahirap handling nito?

If you can wait until November, you could add the Mitsubishi Mirage to your list. SRP starting at around P500K.

The handling of small cars on highways are to be expected. At around 100kph, they handle okay BUT if they are caught in the wake of a large vehicle (example: bus), the small car will feel "unsettled" until it clears the wake of the large vehicle.

The Swift looks better and fun to take around but I would still take a brand new car over a 2nd hand vehicle if the difference isn't that big in general. For example, I'd only consider a 2nd hand if it were a brand new fort or a 2nd hand, but in good condition, Prado. Ganun.

So I'd go with the Spark. Hirap din bumili 2nd hand nowadays coz of the past flooding.

amongst superminis, the Spark is one of the more stable on e highway, but the best is probably the Pica.

If you're looking in this range, the Spark 1.0 MT, the Eon and the Alto have pretty good economy and low running costs.

Ironically, the Chevrolet Optra was sold as a Suzuki in the US (Forenza). Thus there are people in the US with the same opinion about Suzuki...
