I want to buy a second hand car. I have a budget of 250K. Can I get a Honda Civic 1998 up? Or any suggestions (toyota or mitsubishi) that can fit my budget?

    Welcome braveheart14!

I think your budget will fit for an LXI or even VTI model. Sa buy and sell kasi, medyo mataas ang price, but you can check them out to get some ideas. You may also try a Toyota Corolla but if you really want a Civic, get the VTI.

It's better if you will buy the car from someone you know. Just a piece of advice, don't rush sa pagbili para makapamili ka ng mas maganda o kaya mas mura.

Try checking here at tsikot sa Car Finder or sa http://autolink.ph.

    Good luck!

AFAIK, you can get a VTi for that much, with good bargaining skills. Good luck!

The main difference is in four letters: VTEC.

Yung VTI, all power sya. Power windows, side mirror, antenna, etc... at yung significant difference is the engine. 1.5 LXI, 1.6 VTI (VTEC), mas maganda at mas malakas engine ng VTI because of VTEC.

In terms of price, mas mahal ng kaunti ang VTI pero sulit naman.

Pasensya na di ako techie sa kotse, but here's a link to explain VTEC of Honda.

Nice choice. Just take time to check not only the car itself but its background too. Then set aside enough funds to install a good anti-theft device like one of those with remote engine kills.

If you will get a Civic, dapat VTi. Talagang noticeable ang performance difference despite only .1-liter larger than the LXi.

96-98 model)

With a 250K you can get a Civic VTI but either a '96 or 97 model.
