we have a 2003 Revo 2.0 gas M/T .. same engine with the VX200 (1RZ-E),
5.0 to 6.0 km/L city driving
6.0 to 8.5km/L highway driving..
napa-abot ko na to 140kph (max speed on revo owners manual).. other members on our TROC yahogroups eh 160kph daw sila.. pero why would you travel on AUV at very high speed? no safety features like ABS and airbags..
my dad owns a 2000 Revo 2.4 Diesel, pero I still opted for the 2.0 gas variant para maiba naman .. nasa 10km/L ang consumption sa city driving, no major problems naman, nasa 105,000 na odometer reading, timing belt and sanden compressor lang napalitan..
very reliable naman ang 2.4cc diesel ng revo (2L), this is the same engine found on the old hilux model..
i must admit na based on paper specs, mas mataas ang HP and torque rating ng gas and diesel engine ng adventure compared to revo.. pero di ko alam gross vehicle weight nila both..
and, kahit 10 tao sakay, di basta-basta babagsak ang likod nya compared to adventure..
marami naman 2nd hand revo and adventure, the best is try them out sa mga 2nd hand dealers..
ano ba mas matagtag? revo o adventure?Last edited by revoGSX; March 20th, 2006 at 08:35 PM.

i personally owned and driven an adventure (diesel) and i have also driven a revo (gasoline) several times and i'd have to say aside na mas maporma ang dating ng adventure kaysa sa revo, aside from that iyun driving comfort is much better, interms of engine power (hatak), and natural mas fuel efficient ang diesel...
suggestion lang, bago mo bilhin iyun sasakyan subukan mo i test drive muna...

August 25th, 2006 06:49 PM #30I used to own a Revo ( 2003 SR Manual). Except for being a true blue gas guzzler , everything else is acceptable for me.
considering a Ferrari has an average price range of 20-25M. multiply that with 666 units sold then...
