No wonder I see so many nice-looking SUVs in SLEX not driving up to the "Highway Spec" because of these unwritten "2500 rpm" rule, and they are dangerously slow because of the wrong mindset at the wrong place. These gooks are dangerous because since they're not driving up to highway speed (city-driving mindset kasi eh) so highway-abiding drivers (those running average of 80kph) has to overtake and cut them unnecessarily. No matter how much expansion is being done in our highways we still have slow traffic. 'sensya na, I was just a bit pissed off upon learning this, 'coz everyday I drive I tried to get ahead of a jam to find out what's a cause of a slow traffic in a highway that doesn't even have a traffic light, eto pala yun! Yan OT na tuloy.
Congrats on your upcoming purchase... thing to look out for in a pre-owned Rav4:

    - front suspension
    - idling

Pero mas ok na daw yung new CR-V yung 3rd gen. Yung kapitbahay naman meron nun he gets 6-7km/L daw. He has the 4X2 A/T variant. He also works here in Makati galing QC we pretty much take the same route.

it depends sir. kung san niyo gagamitin yung auto pag marami kayo lagpas 5 then dun po kayo sa crv pero kung 5 lang kayo dun kayo sa rav4.

in my opinion po matagtag po yung rav4 kasi pag longdrive hindi rav4 ginagamit namin parang minamasahe kami pag rav4 ang dala. sa power hindi kayo kakapusin talagang meron ibubuga.

Only 6-7 km/li ? This is a bit of a disappointing result esp. since its about a gain of only 1-2 kms from the K20 2nd gen CRV.

That's still a palpable gain. Especially when you consider how many liters you have to buy in a week to fuel those trips.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
