Everest if you slide the second row forward.
MUX/Terra if you keep the second row fixed since the Everest has very thick seats.

Midsize SUV covers the PPVs (Fortuner, Montero Sport, Everest, Terra, MUX, Trailblazer) and unibody big crossovers (Sorento, Santa Fe, Explorer, CX9, Pilot).

I may not be sure but the Explorer sure looks big inside.

MUX has a roomy third row for passengers.
But be sure to check if the space of the trunk area is acceptable to you.

The BK Pajero looks promising space wise being a box and all. I saw it once in a showroom though the 3rd row seems roomy mababa ang seats and seems manipis yun cushion. Roomy but not comfortable I think.

Sadly though, Mitsubishi has stopped production of the Pajero.

    Terra and Everest
Terra's 3rd row can be reclined while not for Everest.
For Mux, you may check the headroom

Yep, may mga drawback ang 3rd row... pero tama yung mga sinasabi nila... better check it for yourself according to your needs...

    as ray implied,
"it may be the roomiest, but it still may not be comfortable enough, especially for longer trips".
try them out first, sir, before taking the plunge.
as already mentioned elsewhere, "passenger space is the one accessory you can not effectively buy or improve on, after you purchase the car".

If budget is not an issue, get a full-size SUV instead. An Expedition or Patrol Royale or Land Cruiser or Suburban will be more comfortable than any of those PPVs or midsize crossover SUVs.

If you need max 3rd row legroom... The expedition cant be beat.

But if youre looking in the midsize SUV range.... I think the Trailblazer wins this.

    PPV Based SUV's..

kung meron lang "Alterra" yes.. very spacious, lalo sa 2019.. since replaced na ng MU-X, same body sa Trailblazer..

Pag deep pocket naman, LC150, Pajero BK, LC70..

yan na talaga ang pinaka least close enough for passenger(s) na makakasakay for 3rd seat for comfort..

kung comfort ang usapan.. alphard, or hiace.. hindi lang 3rd seat ang usapan.. mas maraming passenger(s) + the cargo load..

    Anong deep pocket??

The alphard can only seat 6 (7max) and then the cargo capacity is sacrificed too.

If budget reaches the 2M or TOTL level I'd also consider the Honda Odyssey. The middle row seats are sublime and the 3rd row a lot more comfortable than the PPVs.
