We are planning to buy a pick-up truck 4x2 automatic for daily use sana na pwedeng kargahan din ng mga broadcast equipments etc. Nagtry ako magcompare through internet pero nahihirapan parin ako magdecide dahil di ko pa natry mgdrive ng pick-up. Hilux, Ranger, Dmax, Strada, Navara, Colorado? Thank you po ng marami!!!!

Hi. I suppose the right choice pickup will depend on your requirements. You seem to be hauling a lot of stuff. How many people would normally be riding with you? Is ride comfort a priority? How heavy is the stuff you haul? Where is your usual route?

I'd suggest either the Ranger or D-Max.

200 to 400 kg pero not everyday naman po maybe once a month lang kargahan. mga 2-3 persons lang and comfort is very important din po para sa mga clients na sinasakay ko. 10km home to office then gagamitin din pag lalabas to meet the clients.
Di po ba mahal maintenance ng Ranger?

    1. Do a test drive at libre lang naman.
    2. Look at for navarra on comfort. Ranger on overall balance of comfort and payload.

The Nissan fits your bill. It has coil spring rear suspension, which could easily handle your mentioned payload, and also give your clients that cushy ride.

The facelifted D-Max has ESC/HSA and TC for a little over 1.2M for the high ride 4x2 A/T. Downside is it's still equipped with the old powertrain. Thai models get Euro IV/VI engines and 6 speed A/T or M/T.

Perhaps this Aussie review will give you more perspective.

Ute comparison: Ford Ranger v Holden Colorado v Isuzu D-Max v Mazda BT-5 v Mitsubishi Triton v Nissan Navara v Toyota HiLux v Volkswagen Amarok

    Ganito lang yan.

Ask yourself: How much am I willing to spend in buying a pick up and maintaining it?

Bottom line is, its all about where you can save most, and at the same time satisfy your need/s.

The rest is just hot air.

    Good luck on your purchase.

there is an upcoming variant of the Strada, GLS 2wd A/t . supposed to replace the glx, but I'm not quite sure. price is 1.295M, changes include push button start, 4N15 engine and steering wheel of montero, dark chrome grills and rims of the current GLSV.

I'm also in the market for a 4x2 pickup and the SA offered me this
