    My 1st vehicle is 2016 Mobilio : ) 30% DP 16,213 monthly
    it really suits my needs with 7 smiles : ) rural roads once a month uphill downhill, less chances na mastock-up sa putik dahil front wheel drive compared to rear drive static fix rotation, imo.
    Nasa driver padin nakasalalay mostly ang lifespan ng iyong sasakyan, though wala pa akong napapatunayan. hehe

    TS kapag natuto na wifey mo mag drive, asahan mo hindi kana makakadrive. hahaha

    For diesel get innova.

    If Gasoline get avanza.

    Both RWD and conventional Automatic Transmission.

    Resale value of RWD is better than FWD.

    ^ i dont think being FWD or RWD has anything to do with resale value.

    It depends on markets. Dami ng avanza sa 2nd hand market, yung iba mas mura pa kesa vios of the same year and variant.

    the vios is a family-oriented vehicle.
    the avanza has commercial possibilities.

    got to chk out the VW jetta(850k), they have an additional discount of 100k(maybe i was just hard of hearing) if ayala employee...space is adequate...i like it for the price..

    sir maybe get the 2nd hand vios or avanza 1.3. ok naman yan kahit medyo malaki ka. baka kasi matakawan ka lang sa gas pag malaki makina, magagamit mo pa everyday. meron ka nga lang ipapagawa pag 2nd hand and need mo ng reliable na mechanic. malaki na matitipid mo dyan sir

    Makulit talaga to si eryxon. Mahindra enforcer na lang para 4x4. Mas mataas siguro resale value nun kasi di lang RWD, 4x4 pa?

    The Crosswind is extremely overpriced for what you get. It's so poorly spec'd even in its latest model which was actually more poorly equipped than the previous model. Though it is definitely built to last with the Jurassic engine known to run way past 300,000kms of mileage. Fuel efficiency cannot be discounted, but is not as good in matic form. Power is sorely lacking, handling is poor, no safety features besides seatbelts, and with only lap belts on the second row and none at all at the 3rd row if I am not mistaken. Then of course there is the Crosswind's specialty... Smoke belching, which has been its sore spot ever since it was first introduced as the Hilander almost 20 years ago. Its so old it already feels like an old car before it even leaves the showroom!

    I suggest you get the Innova. For a bit more, you will be much, MUCH more satisfied. Engine makes more than twice the power, is immensely more comfortable, is an all new model, the list goes on. Considering the reputation of the previous model, it shows that even modern diesel engines can be reliable and relatively cheap to maintain, especially for the first ten years or so of its life.

    If you still find it too expensive... Might I suggest you consider a pickup. The Strada GLX-V A/T only costs 1.158M SRP, and Mitsubishi is known to give big discounts, not to mention that its Christmas season.

    Choose wisely... Hard earned money is at stake! 😁

    ^What with our horrible road conditions and flashfloods, you'd be better off with the BRV. Engine is the same so reliability should be the same for both. I'd expect the BRV to have stronger chassis components too. I don't particularly care much for touchscreen stuff in a car. It gets really distracting for the driver since you have to be looking at it to operate it properly. Cruise control is a nice-to-have but I don't think you'd get much use out of it in this country. Reverse camera is a nifty feature but not a deal breaker. They come really cheap in Banawe or Araneta.

    I would agree that the BRV is more practical, but it looks so cheap. I saw one on the road and it looks so narrow.

    I also doubt that its underpinnings are any more durable than a City's. Higher, yes, but still a Brio at the end of the day. It's not as rugged as an Ecosport which is truly flood-rated, and at least that one's based on a subcompact not a minicar.

    I had really high hopes for the BRV which is probably why I was a bit disappointed when I wasn't blown away when I saw it in the flesh.

    The City on the other hand is such a great package for under 900k for the VX. Looks great inside and out, and has lots of space and a comfortable ride. Quite fuel efficient too. Only drawback is the ride height, but unless it's a true MPV/CUV/SUV, you're not really missing out much.

    Honda City will be more reliable and comfortable ... Honda BR-V more practical because of the ground clearance but has cheaper quality then the Honda City ...

    If only you were knowledgeable with cars ... the Volkswagen Jetta 1.6 TDi MT is such a great value ... or you could add a wee bit more and get the Mazda 3 ...

    drive them all if you can, some cars have not so good legroom, my mother has a city, kinda cramp, but it does looks nice..

    How's the NVH in the BRV? The Mobilio's is pretty bad.
