Fair to say, you could easily rack up a 100k bill to get that right
Radiator alone is 20k for an oem, maybe 12k for a replacement
Suspension compenents of BMWs tend to be a bit expensive, so I would say 40-60k
Add another 20-30k to change the fluids, pads, maybe tires
At least its a manual, so no problems there
Its a pre facelift e46, research on the problems of that model
I agree on the getting a compression test first
Actually at 170k, that is a very good deal, those should go for 350-400k

October 21st, 2013 08:55 PM #14Took me a while to get what TS means, lol. Yes, i am a newbie. this will be the first car that I will be buying (i'm 23 yo). I have currently driven lots of cars already, around 20. My uncle, who is a mechanical Genius with cars is encouraging me to get this at this price and he said he will assist me along the way. I just want to have more opinions, and see people's views and insight. so any feedback will be awesome =D
