March 15th, 2015 10:19 PM #1I'm just curious about these two vans; Hiace and Grand Starex. Which is better for family use and at the same time for business purpose (rentals)? I think the Grand Starex TCi is enough, but the Hiace GL Grandia seats more (plus one. hihi) but it's more expensive, then maybe better consider the Grand Starex VGT GLS, haha. Yet the price is almost near to the Hiace Super Grandia. And by the way, for the Super Grandia, is the Fabric version already enough? Haha. Thanks

We already have a thread regarding this. You might wanna visit that thread.
If your business purpose is rental, choose the one that can seat more people comfortably since people wanna maximize their savings. The more people can fit, the lesser their share. That's why some renters prefer the Urvan and Commuter coz they can seat 15 to 18 pax in one go. If you are going to use it for family use as well, choose the one that has more appeal to you, the one that you wanna drive whenever there is no one renting it.
If your choices with the Hiace are GL Grandia and SG fabric, there are just slight differences between the 2. But the biggest advantage of the SG fabric is having 2 sliding doors That would make the ingress and egress of passengers much easier against 1 door only.
It depends if you think the SG fabric is enough. If you wanna have everything in it, go with the top of the line model, which is the SG leather. That one can give you more luxurious feel as a passenger with all the features put into it. Lucky for those who will rent it if you will have it rented. Downside is, it costs almost 2M already.
