February 4th, 2011 02:20 PM #1Question lang, hindi kasi ako masyado familiar sa mga sasakyan, pero anu-ano po ba ang mga 1.3L engine na sasakyan ang EFI? kasi most of them are Carburator type diba? Gusto ko kasi ng 1.3L n EFI, kasi pag 1.6L parang masakit na sa bulsa. Yun po bang Nissan Sentra Series 3 Super Saloon, may 1.3L EFI or 1.6L EFI siya?

Pag Mazda 323 Familia 97 Mdl 1.6L, ano po ba ang KM/L nito sa fuel consumption? Gano po ba kahirap hanappin at kamahal ang Spare Parts nito? Mas ok po ba ito than Nissan Series 3 Super Saloon 1.6L? I am choosing between the two.

February 4th, 2011 05:18 PM #2Rather, dati halos lahat carburetor type ang 1.3L. Pero ngayon hindi na. If I remember right, the AE111 Corolla was the last to offer a carbureted 1.3L engine and it stopped production already in 2003. The modern subcompacts we have like the Vios, City, or even budget compacts like the Sentra and the Lancer have EFI engines.
AFAIK, the Series 3 Sentra doesn't have a 1.3L engine, or at least a 1.3L EFI engine. It's 1.6L is fuel injected though.

95 up Sentra has a 1.4L EFI engine (EX Saloon).
Be aware though that having a smaller engine doesnt necessarily mean matipid, especially if you drive a lot with a full load and on the highway.
