Is the Patrol Royale worth the P1.2M+ premium over the Land Cruiser LC200?

AFAIK maraming JDM na Mitsubishi na napunta dito GDi ang makina like Pajero, Challenger, RVR, Savrin, etc.
Na-OT na pala ako, sa Patrol naman, halos 80hp yata ang agwat ng power output nito sa gasoline engine ng LC200 kahit 100cc lang ang lamang ng LC200, tapos pareho pa silang may variable valve timing. Yung hp/liter rating ng Patrol parang pang turbo direct injection na diesel. Kahit na sabihin mong SUV yan at hindi importante ang hp, ang konti parin talaga, yung Suburban engine na OHV pa at walang mga valve trickery makes more power and has cylinder deactivation technology to boot. The Patrol might be more worth buying if they offer a diesel variant, and that diesel makes good power and is sold at the same price, which IMO, knowing Nissan, is high unlikely.

Meron din ata new CRDi engine para dyan sa new Patrol Royale.

Kasi yung current 3.0 CRDi na Patrol, hirap na sa weight. Yan pa kaya?

Onga naman, sa alam ko yung power output ng 3.0 diesel ng current Patrol halos pareho lang sa Trooper natin. Eh yung size naman ng Patrol eh parang Landcruiser. Kelangan dun at least V6 CRDi parang dun sa Hyundai Veracruz or Jeep Commander Overland.

By next year pa ang CRDI engine ng Patrol Royale..Its either the new 4 Liter V8 DCI CRDI engine or that 3 Liter V6 Twin Turbo ng Infiniti FX30 sa Europe.

High priced SUVs are too obscene for my taste, even if you have the money. Parang kakahiya magdrive while others are suffering. I'm just not too keen on spending that amount of money which could be spent more worthwhile.
