Please help me mga tsikoteers because I'm planning to buy a new car this month and having a hard time deciding which unit to get. This would be my first car and my budget is about 650K. Below are the things I consider:

1. Practicality
2. Reliability
3. Fuel Economy
4. Safety
5. Driving/riding comfort
6. Cabin/trunk space
7. Looks

and here are my choices:

1. Toyota Vios 1.3E
2. Honda Jazz 1.3MT
3. Kia Picanto
4. Hyundai Getz 1.1 or 1.4
5. Toyota Avanza 1.3J
6. Honda City 1.3CVT/MT
7. Kia Rio

if you have other preferences kindly enumerate them and your reasons.

if i may suggest, you might want to try narrowing your choices down by car type... do you want a sedan or a hatchback? :-)

2. Hyundai Getz 1.5MT CRDi (pasok sa 650k mo)

Bwahaha... tama nga si alwayz_yummy... why not consider the Matrix?

Or the APV, or the Avanza? Those things will kill any of the given cars in terms of practicality and space.

But to each his own... most of those cars are good choices, and it's up to you to decide which one you like the most.

APV and avanza is a logical choice too....pero expect "fortuner-innova" pangigipit sa avanza!

kaya in short, APV or matrix ka nalang...with the matrix is the top choice.

id get a Vios 1.3E.

its got all power plus TVSS, driver's airbag, decent rims, style, cheap maintenance, fuel efficient engine, practical also has a usable trunk.

matrix? it looks really promising with the crdi engine and other practical stuff. pero talagang hindi ko magustuhan itsura nya

parang city/echo-verso(jdm: fun-cargo) lang ang itsura nu.. beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

ang advantage pa ng matrix over them are:

semi-walk-tru design, under-seat trays and cubby holes, plus di masagwang tignan kung lalagyan mo ng roof-basket/roof-box(for even more storage!)

unlike the APV, since lower ang stance ng matrix, pwedeng ung mga thule boxes na di mo na aalisin(kasi di parin siya hihigit sa 2.1M in height.)

kaya in terms of practicality and space, mas expandable pa ang matrix.
