Magandang 80's car yung mga Mercedes W123 or W124. If you can find Diesel, mas ok :D
ok din Opel Rekord. Classic. :D

Sa commonwealth ave right past Toyota Commonwealth meron dun 2nd hand car shop which sells cars for 'no downpayment'. If true, cos we havent checked it yet, try mo tumingin ng murang cars dun yung nasa mababang bracket, eh di magiging staggered pa ang release ng 80k mo. By that time, may bwelo ka na to cover up for your balance.

hmmm. at 80k DP, it could not be enough. please take note that if you pay a low DP, kakainin nyang yung monthly amortization mo, and dun lalaki.
what i would suggest is to look for second hand cars that you can get in cash. or ipon pa ng onti, until you reach around 120k, where your choices could be bigger.

Well some banks (like Maybank) would do financing for second-hand cars but AFAIK more recent models lang, i.e. currently mga 2000 and up.
IMO, mas ok yon suggestion ni ID4LV. Increase your budget to at least 120,000 to diversify your choices.
BTW, why get an 80's car? You may have a hard time sourcing parts. Somebody in Tsikot posted that manufacturers are only obliged to produce parts for 15 years after the model release. Unless the car is hugely popular and widely owned, there won't be that many 3rd party sources to go around.
If I may suggest, I will have an eye on the Toyota 1.6L GL model (AE92). Still looks nice after all these years.
